Falling Too Far, Guilt, and Finding Redemption

Finding Redemption

At some point in our lives, we’ve all seen those days. And when we try to get back to God, there’s always a voice in our head saying, “You can’t show your face to God anymore”. But in reality, God is always by our side but our spiritual senses go numb. In fact, He is more interested in those who have lost connection because they need Him the most. It’s just like He came for the sick but not the whole. Or like leaving the 99 to find the one lost sheep. He is already there, all you have to do is just be available. And your redemption is a step away!

What You Need to Know

Anything that pulls you away from God is not of God, you can gladly ignore it. In this case, it’s the guilt. If your guilt is making you admit your mistakes before God, then it’s the good guilt. But if your guilt is making you hide from God (which is impossible), it’s bad guilt.

You must learn to discern where your thoughts are coming from. That will be your first step to victory. Because you can only defeat your enemy if you know who it is.

Once you experience the goodness of God and somehow backslide, the first thing that puts you away from redemption is this bad guilt. Do you know that in Jesus’ name, we have the authority over these negative thoughts? You can simply reject them and they won’t disturb you!

One Step to Redemption

If you’ve understood what I’ve written so far, you already have the answer. The first thing is to ignore this guilt, it’s a lie. And then be available to God. “How can I do it?” – you may ask. It’s not very complicated. When you pray, have a heart of listening. Submit yourself and expect God to speak to you. The rest, He’ll take care of.

And as long as you see Spirituality as a relation with God, things will not be complicated. This will also help you in many other situations in life. God bless.
