Victorious Life: What’s Your Part to Play?

victorious life

The Situation

The word Victorious Life sounds so good that everyone wants to have it. But the question is, “How many are making an effort to have a victorious life?” Yes, this won’t happen just by daydreaming and wishing. I may sound too blunt but here’s the thing. A believer’s life is a battleground. There’s always some conflict between spirit and flesh and you constantly find yourself in the middle of war. And no one expects you to be casually sitting and playing around on the battlefield.

How Much Responsibility Can You Really Take?

This is a fair question. In fact, you must ask this question. I’ve seen people who try to take control of their situations so much that they forget to ask for the will of God. And some people only pray and expect things to happen without their involvement. Either of these are blunders and will block God’s intentions from working in their lives.

This doesn’t mean God is not able. He will always have ways to speak to His people but when they are occupied and consumed by the worries of the world, they just go blind to God. (This can go even deeper, I’ll publish a dedicated post about this situation.)

Taking the whole burden on yourself is not right. And only praying without showing your faith in deeds is not enough. Instead of taking control of your life, let Him direct your paths. All you have to do is – be attentive and obedient.

If you can do this, you’re already walking with God and no darkness would dare to touch you. This is not something I’m saying only to boost you up but this is a promise from God. I hope this helped you find encouragement and peace. God Bless!
