Many may think it’s crazy to have an obsession with someone who lived on earth more than 2000 years ago. There should be something special about Jesus that millions dedicate their lives to Him all the time! Everyone will have their reason and today, I’m here to share mine.

I Don’t Have a Christian Background

Before going any further, I need you to know that I was not born into a Christian family. I’m the first person in my kin that got influenced by Jesus so much that I dedicated my life to Him. And no one ever manipulated or brainwashed me into liking the teachings of Jesus. I am mentioning this because many may assume that people become Christians through manipulation. Manipulated thoughts and lifestyles are never permanent.

The Obsession

When you realize God’s love for you on a personal level, you can’t help but fall in love with Him. Eventually, your personality changes. You’ll start to show the characters of Jesus Himself! This is one of the main reasons for my obsession. Not only this but as you keep reading His Word (the Bible), your experiences with Jesus are new every single time. It’s like He will surprise you in every encounter!

I didn’t even start describing how I always enjoy the relationship with Him. Every time I pray or read the Bible, I sense his presence in and around me. Miracles become a daily routine. I’m a working professional with multiple pressures from every side. Yet, you always see me joyful and smiling. I don’t have to work on maintaining my mental health. It just happens. It’s like the purpose of my life is found.

All of this looks like an exaggeration, but you’d only understand this if you experienced it by yourself. You would even say I didn’t even start describing! And yes, there’s so much more to share. But for now, this is what I have for you. Now why don’t you try Jesus?
